Job title: Orthopaedic Sales Representative

The Opportunity
The Fannin Orthopaedic Division is seeking a motivated, ambitious and diligent person to become part of our growing team. Training and upskilling will be provided in order to enable the chosen candidate to:
* Achieve competency in our med tech devices (Smith & Nephew, Adler Orthopaedics)
* Become certified in orthopaedic robotics,
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans,
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers,
* Provide technical expertise on our product portfolio,
* Ensure customer satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for selling and promoting our joint replacement products to orthopaedic surgeons, across knee, hip and shoulder portfolios.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
* Provide technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Acquire, maintain and keep up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on current customers, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity and market trends.
* Report regularly on sales activity, business prospects and competitor activity.
* Management of the Company's assets within the territory, in particular, loan and consignment inventory, to ensure a profitable return on investment.
* Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and opportunities to add to the customer base.
* Provide technical advice and training to customers on Smith & Nephew and Adler products to ensure high levels of user competence.
* Follow up on all sales leads, customer enquiries and requests for assistance to ensure sales opportunities are maximised and the customer is provided with a first-class support service.
* High level of customer focus and customer service.
* Willingness to travel internationally to manufacturer training programmes and for clinical meetings as required.
* Liaising with colleagues from other parts of Fannin’s business to ensure that cross-business opportunities within the territory are maximised.
Experience & Profile:
* Min 3-5 years sales experience in a healthcare market
* Tenacity and resilience, articulate, numerical, relationship building, sales closing skills, persuasive and approachable
Other Information:
* On-call requirements due out of hours and weekends may be necessary due to the nature of the role
