TechForce Talent is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our client's team.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to 250 users across various systems, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services.
This position is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Provide support for systems such as Microsoft 365, WAN/LAN networks, Firewalls, VMWare, Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and business applications.
Ensure IT security best practices are implemented across the network.
Maintain and support local and wide area networks.
Assist with updating and testing the Business Continuity Plan.
Provide out-of-hours support and travel between locations when necessary.
Follow procurement processes for purchasing hardware and software.
Research and implement software/hardware solutions as required.
Skills and Experience IT Degree or equivalent qualification.1-2 years of experience as a computer technician or similar role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and IT components.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
