Ornua is an Irish dairy co-operative that markets and sells dairy products on behalf of its Members, Ireland’s dairy processors and, in turn, Irish dairy farmers. The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands, including Ireland’s most successful food export, Kerrygold, as well as Kerrygold Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO milk powders.
Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world, and for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our dynamic team for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, development, and maintenance of our enterprise applications, ensuring they meet the strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications including CRM, QMS, SRM.
2. Ensure that enterprise applications are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.
3. Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
4. Develop and enforce best practices in application development, deployment, and maintenance.
5. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
6. Conduct system analysis and recommend improvements or solutions that enhance functionality and performance.
7. Collaborate with infrastructure and integration teams on new system and applications integrating into existing infrastructure.
8. Ensure enterprise applications are secure, scalable, and comply with industry standards.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
10. Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations, processes, and procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise application management or a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools.
4. In-depth understanding of project management methodologies.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Experience with Salesforce, Foods Connected, and Jaggaer advantageous.
9. Proven track record of leading successful projects and delivering solutions on time and within budget.
