We support customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, delivering tailored engineering services that drive long-term success. Position SummaryNeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced OT Security & Integration Consultant to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise through remote working and across the Dublin based site.This role is responsible for supporting a high-impact public sector project.
This role blends operational technology awareness, security best practices, and systems integration experience, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and programme coordination. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the client's Cybersecurity and IT teams to support OT security initiatives in a safety-critical operational environment.Provide integration support across OT systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise security requirements and public sector policies.Serve as a bridge between technical stakeholders, vendors, and business leaders, promoting clarity, coordination, and accountability.Support the assessment and implementation of OT cybersecurity practices in line with IEC 62443 and other relevant standards.Guide the client in applying IEC 62443 concepts such as security levels, zones and conduits, and defense-in-depth strategies.Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that reflect secure-by-design principles within OT and IACS environments.Attend client site two days per week in line with the remote working policy; maintain a professional and responsive presence both on-site and remotely. Experience & SkillsRequiredMinimum 5 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) or industrial control system (ICS) environments.Demonstrated experience in systems integration, particularly in safety-critical or regulated sectors.Working knowledge of IEC 62443 standards, including:Understanding of system security architecture principles.Familiarity with concepts like zones and conduits, security levels, foundational requirements, and security policies & procedures.Experience applying IEC security program requirements) and/or system security requirements and security levels).Experience supporting or advising on compliance, risk assessments, or segmentation strategies within OT networks.Comfortable working in or with public sector or regulated enterprise environments.DesiredAwareness of other frameworks and standards such as NIST 800-82, ISO 27001, NIS2, or BS EN 5015x series.Certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, or vendor-specific OT certifications (Schneider, Siemens, etc.
).Experience working with or advising multi-disciplinary teams on security implementations in brownfield or legacy OT environments.
