Our Client, a large corporate based in Dublin City, has instructed Link Personnel to recruit a Payroll Specialist.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with their outsourced payroll provider to ensure that monthly amendments are accurately recorded and processed.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to take full ownership and management of the monthly payroll process for over 800 employees.
* Oversight and coordination of payroll amendments, including joiners, leavers, overtime, and other adjustments, with the outsourced payroll provider.
* Generation and review of monthly payroll reports from internal systems, ensuring accurate data processing and timely submission to the payroll provider.
* Approval and review of monthly payrolls provided by the payroll provider to ensure accuracy.
* Addressing and resolving any payroll-related queries as they arise.
* Management and maintenance of the business relationship with the third-party payroll provider.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform ad hoc tasks, including reward administration, reporting, and HR system data management.
* Processing of monthly deductions/payments related to healthcare, pensions, travel passes, bike-to-work schemes, overtime, etc.
* Coordination with Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts, and other departments to ensure the smooth flow and accuracy of employee data.
* Development and maintenance of effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
* 2-3 years previous experience within a similar role.
* Strong written and communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
