Job Summary
This role involves providing support to existing accounts, prospecting and developing new opportunities, and converting inbound enquiries. The ideal candidate will engage with customers, understand their needs, build relationships, gather information, and provide creative solutions to generate profitable revenues within the scope of our global strategy.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Nurture and develop existing customer accounts to extract maximum value, grow sales spend, and develop margin opportunities.
2. Regenerate business opportunities with lapsed accounts.
3. Become a true business partner to customers by understanding their business workings, needs, and offering/up-selling our extensive portfolio of products.
4. Be innovative in our offering and support customers to grow their business.
5. Develop excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders in your customer and work on warm and lukewarm influencers in all functions.
6. Monitor, manage, and control sales costs directly associated with your accounts to ensure agreed margin targets are met.
7. E nsure customer orders are processed, invoiced, and managed correctly throughout, delivering expert customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
8. Respond timely to internal and external inquiries on product availability, pricing structures, delivery/lead times, and the status of orders.
9. Prepare quotations for customer enquiries.
10. Provide product issue resolution where necessary.
11. Build industry intelligence of Zeus packaging products, including environmental & sustainable product ranges.
12. Develop an understanding of continuous improvement techniques and apply product & service solutions that drive efficiencies for customers and deliver longer-term customer value & satisfaction.
13. Understand and utilise customer-provided brand guidelines/assets to create packaging portfolios that support the customer's business while achieving best gross margin for Zeus.
14. Identify strategic product or service innovation opportunities and present them to the business.
Scope of Position
This role does not have line management responsibility and requires working any hours required in the execution of duties.
Location
This position is located at one of our Zeus offices in Ireland and may involve occasional remote work from home.

Qualifications
