This Technical Program Manager will sit in the Data Strategy and Operations team where our mission is to: “Drive and Support Cross-functional data programs to enable success at Personio.” This exciting role will help support that mission by working both internally with the rest of the data department to improve our operations and externally with stakeholders on data programs to ensure the job gets done - planning, designing & driving success of programs that tackle our current and future data needs.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
1. Own all the activities throughout a data program lifecycle to ensure successful roll out.
2. Drive and facilitate Data programs and communicate proactively with all stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, ensure knowledge sharing, and manage change.
3. Develop and track progress on OKRs, follow up with teams and stakeholders, and ensure convergence toward the roadmap and company goals.
4. Own the Data Department Jira service desk, from the Jira initiative set ups to notifications from Jira tickets.
5. Serve as a Scrum Master on multiple Data virtual teams, helping the team prioritize tasks and dependencies as well as manage sprint progress.
6. Run Data Enablement programs to ensure that Personios know how to access & navigate data.
7. Focus initial programs on Product Analytics to create actionable recommendations for the business and explore how Personio can use AI in day-to-day operations.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
1. 3+ years of experience working as a program manager with strong knowledge of data OR
2. 3+ years as a hands-on data analyst with strong interest in program management.
3. Proactive, strong communicator, collaborator, highly organized, with great attention to detail, strong ability to influence, and a passion for Data.
4. Strong understanding of how a data department operates and drives business success (ideally in SaaS).
5. Strong knowledge of working with Jira to manage multi-team projects and programs while maintaining program transparency and delivering results on time.
6. Excellent problem-solving, time management, and tactical thinking skills with an eye for detail, as well as for the big picture.
