About the Role
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join a leading medical company in Cork. This role offers the opportunity to lead a variety of projects, including product and technology development initiatives, medium-scale site transfers/acquisitions, and serving as a site representative for broader global projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead medium-to-large cross-functional development teams, ensuring alignment and execution of project goals.
* Provide feedback to functional managers on team and individual performance.
* Engage with key stakeholders at every project phase, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
* Overcome technical challenges related to technology applications and new product development, proactively identifying and mitigating risks in collaboration with subject matter experts.
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, incorporating risk mitigation strategies.
* Foster team ownership by defining clear decision points and presenting data-driven recommendations.
* Manage and oversee project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
* Adhere to relevant project roadmaps, such as the PLCP process for NPI or Product Transfer roadmap for Site Transfers, while representing Operations on the Core Team.
* Lead the Operations team to ensure full compliance with policies and best practices.
* Deliver clear, tailored communication across various stakeholders, from project teams to senior leadership.
* Manage key project documentation, including phase and business reviews, meeting minutes, issue logs, and key project metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
* Level 8 Honors Bachelor’s degree (240 credits) in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Science, Software, Manufacturing).
* A Level 9 (Master’s) degree or Project Management qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
* 5+ years of project management experience in an Operations or New Product Development environment.
* Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects across multiple functions and sites, including Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Supply Chain.
