Overview
A Major Top-Tier International Law practice has a truly exciting opportunity to join a growing team in Dublin and work with one of the Profession’s top Employment Law Partners on a mix of non-contentious and contentious work.
There will be plenty of opportunities for career development within a fast-growing team in Dublin supported by a Global team of over 125 Solicitors and support staff who deal with very large portfolios of prestigious top firms, especially in Life Sciences, Technology, and Sport sectors.
This International Employment Group is a full-service, stand-alone practice.
Role will involve you in the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including:
1. Supporting Partner in all aspects of employment law, including risk assessment and mitigation, WRC hearings, mediations, and civil court proceedings.
2. Cross-border projects, including restructurings and compliance projects.
3. Employment law support to their Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team.
4. Advising in a way that supports the client’s strategic objectives whilst being practical and commercial.
5. Aptitude and appetite for business development.
Requirements
1. 3+ years PQE. Those with even substantially more than 3 should certainly apply.
2. Excellent academic achievement.
3. Solid legal training in a law firm environment.
4. Experience in general employment advisory work.
5. Experience handling complex employment matters gained in a comparable environment.
6. Experience in restrictive covenant litigation, including injunctions and a range of competition and confidential information protection matters, would be helpful.
7. Desire to be working for a truly international firm.
