Aleading biotechnology companyare seeking to hire anOperations Technicianjoin their team inSligoon a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, theOperations Technicianwill be responsible for execution ofmanufacturing activities.
Responsibilities (Full job description available on request): Assist in maintaining a safe,GMP compliant workenvironment at all times.
Become competent and trained on all unit operations includingtableting, blistering, labelling, packaging and antigen manufacture, plus anymanufacturing process or capabilitiesthat may be introduced in the future.
Operate manufacturing equipmentincluding set-up, operation, cleaning and where applicable maintain equipment.
Provide input into the creation and maintenance of area SOPs and batch records.
Perform and document operationsin accordance with cGMP's.
Perform environmental monitoring.
Contamination controlwithin cleanroom environments
As the company is a start-up, flexibility will be required in relation to working patterns. Shift pattern will be introduced in the future.
Ideal background: Desirably hold an ordinary degree in a technical discipline (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology). A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry.
At least 3 years' experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry, with operational experience in a GMP environment
Experience in cleanroom environments
Experience in aseptic processing would be advantageous.
