Production Operative – Rotating Shifts (Average 36 hours per week)
Shift: Full-time, 3 week rotating shift cycle, No Weekends - Wk1: 3 x 12 hour day shift | Wk2: 2 x 12 hour day shift | Wk. 3: 4 x 12 hour night shift
Location: Natus Manufacturing Limited, IDA Business Park, Gort, Co. Galway, H91 PD92
Job Overview:
As the successful candidate in this role, you will complete the final sub-assembly of our Neuro Medical Devices. Documentation to ensure our customers can continue to rely on our life enhancing diagnostic products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
2. Comply with procedures for each work step and ensure product meets quality standards and specifications.
3. Maintain and ensure training records are kept up to date at all times.
4. Use calibration and test equipment while ensuring that all work documentation is completed as per Good Documentation Practices.
5. Ensure product meets quality standards and specifications.
6. Inform Team Lead or Supervisor of any problems regarding the quality of the product, the equipment in use or paperwork associated with the job.
7. Carry out light preventative maintenance activities.
8. Check that all production equipment has been calibrated or maintained before use.
9. Ensure hourly/daily output targets are met.
10. Report any issues/damage to equipment to the Manufacturing Engineering Department.
11. Support Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Departments in problem solving and Continuous Improvement activities, where required.
12. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
13. Ensure your own health, safety & welfare and that of any other person who may be affected by your actions or omissions while at work.
14. Report any unsafe situations to Support Team.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Leaving Cert or equivalent level of education.
2. 1 to 2 years related experience on a Production line in a Medical Device or Electronics environment.
3. Must be computer literate and able to use MS Office applications.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to learn new processes.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
