Job Title: Contracts Manager - Civil
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum + Benefits
The successful candidate will join our client, a leading civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Ireland.
With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and safety, they work on a diverse range of large-scale projects, including roadworks, bridges, water treatment plants, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring they are in line with the contract specifications.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Oversee the preparation of contracts, variations, and claims.
* Monitor project costs, manage risks, and ensure financial targets are met.
* Liaise with site teams to resolve any contractual issues or disputes.
* Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and oversee procurement activities.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Contracts Manager role, with a strong background in managing civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, commercial management, and risk management.
* Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
* Familiarity with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
