A detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Analyst is required to join our client, an expanding healthcare company in Cork. The role focuses on day-to-day buying activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.
Responsibilities:
* Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with established processes, monitor the process to ensure timely delivery, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
* Address supplier inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
* Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance metrics.
* Support supplier negotiations by providing data-backed insights and recommendations.
* Develop and maintain complex Excel models, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to streamline procurement processes.
* Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into procurement activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data requirements for procurement projects.
* Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement and supply chain processes.
* Assist in forecasting and budgeting activities related to procurement.
* Conduct market research and benchmarking to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or a related role
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
* Proficiency in using Excel at an advanced level, including creating and managing macros, with hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
