Treasury Credit Professional Analyst, Dublin/HybridRole Title: Treasury Corporate Credit Analyst
Location/Office Policy: Hybrid working, which will include a blend of onsite (Molesworth St, Dublin) and remote working.

What is the Role: As a Treasury Credit Professional, Level 3, in the Treasury Corporate Credit team, the role involves:
Working within a small team of lending professionals to support the AIB Treasury function in achieving its business objectives.Managing AIB's Bank & Sovereign, Treasury Corporate and Structured Securities credit risk.Providing credit management support to the Fixed Income Investments Desk in relation to its Treasury Corporate Bond Portfolio and to dedicated Corporate Treasury teams in Dublin and London.Key Accountabilities: Credit management of a portfolio of corporate counterparties in relation to Treasury's Bond Investment requirements or clients in relation to their Treasury product requirements.Analysis of corporate entities for the preparation of credit applications, including financial, business, and industry analysis and formulation of recommendations.Ongoing monitoring of all counterparties and relevant market developments, including review of trading updates, financials, corporate news, and benchmarking against base cases.Maintaining the underwriting standards and credit risk quality of the portfolio.Presenting credit proposals to the relevant credit committees.What You Will Bring: Please note that the following criteria forms the basis of your answers on the application form.
3+ years' experience in credit risk or other banking/financial services environment.Working knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting.
A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable (e.g., Commerce, Business, Banking, Economics) and/or undertaking a professional qualification such as accountancy or risk management.Ability to research and understand a company, new markets, and industry sectors quickly, with high attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of communication and presentation skills.Ability to act on own initiative and decisively in a demanding environment.Why Work for AIB: We are committed to offering our colleagues choice and flexibility in how we work and live.
