Field Area Sales Manager - Galway - Permanent
As an Area Sales Manager, you will not only be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, but also for leading and motivating a team of experienced professional drivers who deliver our products and services in your assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
* Promoting and selling our products and services in your assigned territory
* Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
* Providing excellent after-sales service and support
* Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
* Negotiating contracts and closing deals
* Reporting on sales activities and market trends
* Working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction to include our Lubricants & Fuel card Divisions.
* Leading and motivating a team of drivers to support the sales strategy of being number one in our territories for customer service
* Growing our sales through acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones
* Reviewing Aged Debts reports with Credit Control Manager.
* Maintaining Group credit policies in the business.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the oil distribution industry or a related field
* A proven track record of achieving sales results and meeting customer expectations
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team effectively.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel within your territory
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* A self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
* A strong team player with a customer-focused approach
