Role Overview
The Fund Accounting Supervisor (Fully Remote) is responsible for overseeing key operations within the fund accounting department, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations while managing and mentoring a team of Fund Accountants. This role involves supervising cash, position, and OTC reconciliation processes, trade capture, corporate actions processing, and fund pricing.
The Supervisor plays a crucial role in team development, setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a high-performance culture. All Fund Accounting Supervisors receive comprehensive training, including compulsory (AML/KYC) and client-specific modules, as well as continuous professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and review cash, position, and market value reconciliations.
2. Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
3. Ensure accurate fund pricing and corporate actions processing.
4. Review profit and loss reports for reasonableness and accuracy.
5. Assess income and expense accruals, including fee calculations.
6. Examine fund trial balances and investor profit allocations.
7. Maintain compliance with company-defined checklists, procedures, and controls.
8. Coordinate with internal service departments to resolve fund-related issues.
9. Escalate complex accounting matters to the Fund Accounting Assistant Manager.
10. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
11. Assist in audit preparation and fund financial statement reporting.
12. Mentor and train Fund Accountants, setting clear goals and tracking performance.
13. Ensure all internal and external deadlines are consistently met.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in hedge fund administration.
Background in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business.
Pursuing or holding a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is an advantage but not required.
Strong IT literacy and familiarity with fund accounting software.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
