Netwatch Ireland are currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant to join the Finance Team in Carlow, on a permanent basis. This role supports the finance function to ensure the smooth flow of financial operations and reports to the Finance Shared Services manager.
The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines consistently and to work well under pressure. The role will be based in our Carlow office and will have the opportunity to work from home for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts including Revenue and Cost recognition.
* Complete adjustments, accruals and journals in accordance with established company policies.
* Maintenance of the GL including leases, foreign exchange revaluations, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
* Preparation of Irish and UK VAT.
* Analyse and reconcile accounts to trial balance, supporting the preparation of Management Accounts.
* Collaboration within the Finance team to obtain and validate information.
* Support Financial Controller with actuals v budget analysis.
* Month end/ Year end close and Audit Preparation as necessary.
* Drafting of Management reports using MS Office suite.
* CSO Returns - Services/ Employee Data.
* Support process improvements in the team.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA).
* Experience of Sage Intacct preferable but not essential.
* Strong excel data handling skills required.
* Analytical and detail oriented.
* Ability to follow procedures and processes.
* Working Knowledge of AR and AP workflows, Bank Reconciliation and group consolidation an advantage.
* Highly self-motivated and proactive.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of the organisation in a professional manner.
* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
