Construction Project Manager (Public Sector)
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Capital & Estates Department in the Midlands.
This is an initial 1-year Contract Role, with option to extend by mutual agreement. We are looking for candidates with strong PM experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arranging specifications, drawings, and contract documents for Capital Projects.
* Developing proposals with selected design teams and contractors.
* Creating action plans for timely completion of contracts.
* Coordinating tender and control stages of projects.
* Supervising staff and contractors.
* Working with service management and nurse planners.
* Ensuring quality standards are met.
* Managing project timescales and budgets.
* Anticipating difficulties and resolving issues.
* Presenting information to senior management.
* Ensuring maintenance arrangements are in place.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 8 Quality & Qualifications Ireland major academic award in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying.
* A high level of knowledge and experience in construction and building services.
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Effective communication skills.
