Hotel Maintenance Manager A well-established and award-winning conference hotel in Dublin is seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Manager to join their senior team.
This iconic hotel is centrally located, offering state-of-the-art facilities, including event spaces catering for up to 1,200 delegates and over 500 guest bedrooms.
Position Overview Location: Dublin Job Type: Full-time, permanent Objective: Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the property is maintained to the highest possible standards.
A strong team leader with a professional and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and provide general maintenance across the property.
Supervise contractors (e.g., plumbers, electricians) to ensure work meets standards and complies with Health & Safety regulations.
Manage on-site contractors for capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
Handle team management, including rosters and leave schedules.
Develop and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) guide for maintenance and Health & Safety, including training for Duty Managers.
Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in the maintenance sector, preferably 23 years in large-scale properties.
Previous managerial experience, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Knowledge of Fire Safety, Health & Safety regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with other departments.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Plumbing and/or electrical qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
