Become the Buildings and Maintenance Manager for this leading hospital group. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the healthcare facilities in your region.
As a key member of the Maintenance/Technical Services Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive technical, maintenance, and building services for the General Hospital and its satellite bases.
This contract role will challenge you to deliver a quality-based, cost-effective, and efficient service that ensures the built environment meets all statutory regulations, healthcare standards, and industry best practices.
Manage a diverse portfolio of building and equipment services, including HVAC systems, medical equipment, electrical infrastructure, and more.
Lead a team of skilled professionals to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency. Collaborate with project teams and contribute your expertise to the development of new healthcare facilities.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Proven experience in maintenance management, with a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
2. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce.
3. Proficiency in financial management and budgeting, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
5. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address a wide range of maintenance challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, facilities management, electrical engineering or an electrical qualification.
2. Extensive experience in a similar role within the healthcare or facilities management sector.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with various departments and external contractors.
4. Previous experience of managing a team.
