At AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Project MEP Quantity Surveyor to join us at either our Dublin, Cork or Galway offices.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Lead MEP Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
2. Provide support to other Surveyors on team in the delivery of services of team projects.
3. Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
4. Experience in pre-contract cost management while being experienced in budget control, cost planning, preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders.
5. Ensures projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
6. Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
7. Be an interface with AECOM clients and design team members on specific projects.
8. Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
9. Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients on allocated projects.
10. Participate in non-project related team activities and tasks; QA, office management, business development, H&S.
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
2. Professionally Qualified – On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI.
3. Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
4. 2-4 years experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of cost management services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Bill of Quantities preparation, Procurement; Contract Administration, Remeasures, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
