Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for general cleaning duties, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Vacuum carpets and mop/buff floors.
2. Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces.
3. Collect and dispose of rubbish.
4. Use cleaning materials and equipment safely (per COSHH guidelines).
5. Report defects and safety issues promptly.
6. Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activities.
7. Undertake job-related training as needed.
8. Perform additional duties as required.
9. Work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Good work record, with previous cleaning experience desirable.
2. Experience with cleaning equipment desirable.
3. Basic health and safety knowledge.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
