The role:
We are looking for a Project Controls Engineer based in our new office in Manila. In this role, you will be part of the PMO team and play an important role in offshore wind project development and execution. The Project Controls Engineer is a senior role that will report to the PMO manager.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Support the project organization in developing and maintaining development and execution schedules.
2. Assist the project organization in the preparation of tender time schedules.
3. Facilitate that requirements to the suppliers' planning and progress reporting are included in the tender documents and contract documents.
4. Provide detailed analysis including scenario analysis, milestone tracking, critical path and float analysis as required in the project.
5. Review suppliers' time schedules and ensure that they comply with the overall construction time schedule.
6. Report progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis.
7. Develop and maintain the project risk register, conduct risk workshops and maintain stress test scenarios.
8. Support project team with Interface Coordination (Interface matrix/register and alignment with project team).
9. Facilitate process for proper archiving of documents, rolling out and maintaining EDMS (Enterprise Document Management System).
10. Support PMO manager with wider team activities.
Your experience:
1. A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
2. Work experience in a PMO, project controls, project management, project planning, or similar role, with a track record of success.
3. PMI-PMP qualification or equivalent project management training as well as experience with stage-gate model and structured project execution preferred.
4. Comprehensive skills in Primavera (P6), PowerPoint, and Excel.
5. A structured and analytical approach and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
6. Strong relationship management and networking skills and a cooperative way of working.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate complex matters in a clear and concise manner.
