We are seeking applications for the position of Deputy Training Manager.
The post holder will support the achievement of training activities and objectives aimed at fostering a high-performance culture. This includes promoting empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards, as well as focusing on goal attainment. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the continuous development of a skilled and talented workforce.
This will include the following on a daily basis:
1. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and improving training programs for employees, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that training is aligned with business needs and effective in achieving learning outcomes.
2. Planning, development, delivery, and updating training modules while developing new employment comprehensive training programs to meet organizational needs.
3. Support the HR and Training Manager in assessing training needs and developing strategies for effective service-wide delivery of training, managing its coordination, and meeting organizational needs.
4. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements through regular audits and reviews of training materials and reports.
5. Reporting on training activities, analyzing data to assess effectiveness, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
6. Creating and implementing innovative training solutions that can be used across the organization.
7. Analyzing training gaps, understanding root causes, and driving improvements and changes.
8. Ensuring timely delivery of training projects, managing conflicting deadlines, and maintaining high standards.
9. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for skill development and growth.
10. Act as a role model promoting the core values, best practices, and a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
11. Additional skills include experience with various training delivery methods (e.g., virtual, hands-on, instructor-led) and proficiency in tools like learning management systems (LMS) and design software. The role also requires effective project management to meet deadlines.
Qualification:
1. Relevant qualifications in healthcare, training, or management or related discipline.
2. Certificate or formal training in delivering adult education or staff development programmes is desirable.
Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of standards, legislation, compliance requirements relevant to the area is desirable.
2. In-depth knowledge of training practices to include needs assessment, program design, and evaluation methods.
3. Familiarity with learning management systems and training tools.
Experience:
1. Experience in a training or managerial role.
2. Experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
3. Experience in monitoring and evaluating the impact of training initiatives.
