Maintenance Manager Job Description
Summary:
A Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a manufacturing production system by maintaining its optimal condition. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, responsibly, and observe all health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and manage maintenance planning (daily, monthly, and annual)
* Organize preventive maintenance of the site, including ball mill, separator, filters, pneumatic transport, silos, etc.
* Manage spare parts inventory
* Inspect, monitor, and maintain equipment, including ball mill, diagnose potential faults in equipment
* Manage electrical and mechanical maintenance on-site, including during periods of planned shutdown
* Interpret and modify technical diagrams or schematics for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, etc.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
* Background in maintenance, mechanics, electronics, electromechanics, or automation with at least 5 years of industrial experience (cement industry preferred)
* Track record of adhering to and enforcing safety regulations, particularly on projects under their supervision
* Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
