About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineering Manager to support the Head of the Cloud Centre of Excellence.
You will lead the platform engineering team, guiding development solutions in AWS and Azure, and partner with customers to guide use and collect new requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of high-performing Platform Engineers, guiding the development of solutions in AWS and Azure.
* Work with our partner to ensure direction is clear for areas of focus for development.
* Support the team to deliver new capabilities and features driving Cloud Adoption.
* Continuously improve the Public Cloud Platform by identifying areas for Operational optimisation, especially related to automation and availability of services supporting workloads on the platform.
* Develop and mentor team members, guiding them on their career development.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in cloud technologies and IAC methodologies using AWS or Azure (preferably AWS) with exposure to cloud adoption and migration.
* Experience in developing features and capabilities in a public cloud platform and exposure to highly regulated companies, especially in the financial sector.
* Servant leader experience - enabling the team to deliver.
* Agile Development using agile tooling for CI/CD: Cloud9, Code Commit, Code Repo, and Jira.
* Jenkins and Artifactory are a plus.
