Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the supply chain network and working closely with engineering suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Analysing and optimising the Supply Chain.
* Material planning and procurement.
* General administration of all relevant processes including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
* Liaising with suppliers and visiting supplier facilities as necessary.
* Working with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations.
* Processing complaints and resolving issues efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably in an Engineering company.
* A recognised qualification in a related discipline.
* Experience in Engineering/manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, IT skills, analytics, and organisational skills are essential.
* Advanced skills with formulas and complex financial spreadsheets in MS Excel are required.
* Experience of material planning and contract management with an ERP system is desirable.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Nass, County Kildare. Salary is open to negotiation and dependent on experience, offering a competitive package including company vehicle, medical and life insurance, phone, and laptop.
