We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management (Data & Analytics) to lead our data-driven product initiatives within the advertising technology space. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with strong SQL skills who can directly contribute as an individual contributor (IC) while leading a small team of data-focused product managers or analysts. You will lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and optimization of data products, collaborating closely with data engineering, data science, and other cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate has deep domain expertise in ad tech or another data-rich industry, strong leadership experience, and a proven track record to transform data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes-particularly in a post-cookie environment, where unlocking unique user behaviors is key.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Platform Data Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the platform data and analytics roadmap, obsessing over how the data is used as a seed to unlock unique behaviors in a cookieless future, while ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
2. Hands-on Technical Execution: Use SQL and other data analysis tools to investigate product performance, validate hypotheses, and guide scalable data architectures.
3. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of product managers or analysts, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture.
4. Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with data science teams to embed ML models into product offering ensuring outcomes drive actionable insights and measurable ROI.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, sales, and marketing to align on product goals, maintain strategic focus, and deliver on roadmap commitments.
6. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage product metrics, user feedback, and analytics to inform decisions, continuously measuring and optimizing for maximum value.
7. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Gather and prioritize feedback from internal and external stakeholders, communicate product performance, and develop data-driven narratives.
8. Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on emerging industry trends, technologies, and competitor strategies-particularly around identity, first-party data, and privacy regulation to identify innovative opportunities.
9. Ownership of Full Product Lifecycle: Oversee products from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring measurable impact on performance, efficiency, and scalability.
10. Compliance & Privacy: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to design privacy-first product features in adherence to data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology (Required)
Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Technology Management (Preferred)
Work Experience:
4-7 years experience in product management experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
Technical Expertise: Strong SQL skills; demonstrated experience integrating machine learning or predictive modeling into product strategies.
Leadership Skills: Proven success leading small product teams, driving alignment, and encouraging teamwork across cross-functional groups.
Strategic & Analytical Thinker: Ability to frame business problems in analytical terms and translate insights into actionable product features.
Proven Experience: Familiarity with ad tech identity solutions (MAIDs, cookies, IDFVs), privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and data governance.
Excellent Communication: Capable of articulating sophisticated technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, engineers, and clients. Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering products.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, or other programmatic advertising platforms.
Background in real-time bidding (RTB), audience segmentation, and campaign optimization.
Familiarity with modern data warehousing (AWS, GCP), big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
Strong understanding of data privacy best practices in regulated environments.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
