Summary
We are seeking fully qualified, accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapists to join our EAP Clinical Team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Assessment skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining strong clinical boundaries.
About the Role
As the primary function of this role, you will conduct Initial Clinical Assessments/Triage of client needs, leading to appropriate clinical pathways. This will involve delivering support through various means, including Booked Assessment Appointments, In The Moment Support, or Booked Single Sessions via telephone and/or video calls.
* Carry out Risk Assessments and follow the Safeguarding and Risk Protocol process.
* Manage a caseload of clients requiring Structured Counselling, dependent on your contractual hours and the needs of the service.
* Write brief, accurate, and concise clinical notes for all interactions.
Requirements
* A minimum of 450+ clinical hours of experience as an experienced practitioner.
* Be a qualified, accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (L4 and above in Counselling) with IACP (or similar) accredited status.
* Be available to work a minimum of 3 full days (22.5 hours per week), with part-time arrangements attracting a pro-rata salary.
* Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
* Demonstrate a strong clinical background, excellent Assessment skills, and the ability to make sound Clinical decisions.
* Show proficiency in time management, communication, organisation, and teamwork.
* Be based permanently in the Republic of Ireland.
Desirable Qualifications
* Prior experience in EAP/telephone Counselling or time-limited assessment, preferably in a corporate environment.
