Summary
The Senior Business HR Partner will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals to drive employee engagement, operational excellence, and a positive workplace culture. This role is central to supporting the people strategy in a fast-paced contact center environment, ensuring HR practices are effective and fit for purpose. Note the successful individual will be expected to work the majority of time on-site in our Waterford Office; flexibility for occasional remote working will be available based on business needs.
Essential Functions
1. Strategic HR Leadership
* Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with RelateCare’s operational objectives.
* Support workforce planning and advise on organizational design tailored to the demands of a high-volume contact center.
* Analyze HR metrics and data, delivering insights that drive informed decision-making and improvements in employee satisfaction and performance.
2. Employee Engagement and Retention
* Develop and deliver initiatives to foster employee engagement, with a focus on improving morale and reducing attrition.
* Design and implement bespoke retention strategies that address challenges unique to contact center environments.
* Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, promoting an open and inclusive culture.
3. Performance Management and Development
* Champion performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and employee growth.
* Collaborate with leadership to identify development opportunities and career pathways for employees.
* Implement leadership development programs to enhance managerial effectiveness and support succession planning.
4. Employee Relations and Compliance
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach aligned with employment law and company policies.
* Mediate and resolve complex employee issues to maintain a positive work environment.
* Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Irish employment legislation and industry standards.
5. HR Process Improvement
* Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, ensuring they are efficient and fit for the demands of a contact center environment.
* Leverage HR systems and tools to improve service delivery and employee experience.
* Lead initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
6. Change Management and Culture Building
* Partner with leadership to manage organizational change effectively, including restructuring and process optimization.
* Act as a champion of company values, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Lead projects to embed RelateCare’s values and enhance its reputation as an employer of choice.
Education
* At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
* CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience
* Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR role within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proven expertise in employee relations, organizational development, and engagement strategies.
* Experience working in a contact center or similar high-volume, high-pressure environment is advantageous.
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
* In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
