Duties and responsibilities
Pricing Analyst for the International Market
1. To contribute towards building / modifying the product offer (contracting, pricing, new guarantees, product evolution, law evolution, market evolution, emerging experience)
2. Analyse the profitability of proposed products in the context of Solvency II
3. Perform Solvency II calculations and analyse products solvency.
4. Test the sensitivity of the results under different hypotheses and conduct stress scenario tests
5. Prepare technical notes of findings for presentation to relevant stakeholders and internal management
6. Stakeholder management with all teams in Actuarial and Underwriting Department, and across the company.
7. Prepare presentations and participate in various decision-making committees (Business Committee, Technical Committee)
8. To ensure good governance / documentation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures
9. To collect and analyse market and product statistics, benchmarks, market issues
10. To participate in the development of the software tools used by the underwriting department (mainly pricing tool, business plan tool) and assist Pricing and Underwriting Manager in developing / documenting underwriting guidelines
Analysis & Projects:
11. To perform ad-hoc technical analysis / projects and preparation of partner communications
12. To perform regular back testing of our best estimate assumptions and assist with updating of pricing assumptions/assessing pricing adequacy taking into account emerging trends in our experience
13. To contribute to projects in the pricing team as assigned, such as budget calculation, IFRS17
