Key Accountabilities
* Provide leadership to the Hygiene team in a way that encourages and motivates them.
* Ensure the Hygiene team adheres to Health and Safety practices.
* Schedule cleaning tasks to ensure full compliance with daily and weekly schedules.
* Ensure all logs and documentation are kept up to date and audit ready.
* Be part of the site HACCP team.
* Ensure all production equipment is cleaned to a high standard and is ready for start-up.
* Assist in training Hygiene Operatives in all areas of the Hygiene activities.
* Ensure Hygiene KPIs are met.
* Liaise with other departments as required – e.g., Engineering, Operations, Planning.
Skills and Experience Required
* Proven track record of leading and managing a team is essential.
* Motivational and empathetic management style is essential.
* Quality, chemical, and hygiene training highly desirable.
* Previous hygiene experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Good organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
* A team player, willing to step in and support the team when required.
* An eye for detail, quality-focused, and results-oriented.
