Curry & Hickey Solicitors LLP are seeking to recruit a Legal Bookkeeper/Senior Office Administrator.
Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Daily banking;
2. Assigning and dealing with lodgements from online banking;
3. Processing and part authorising EFTS;
4. Scanning and saving all correspondence to case management system;
5. Invoicing;
6. Bank reconciliations;
7. Month end reconciliations;
8. Assisting with monthly and year end accounts;
9. Preparing VAT Returns for review;
10. Statutory compliance – ensuring that accounts are maintained and operated in compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Regulations and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations;
11. Other office administration tasks.
The ideal candidate:
1. Honest and trustworthy;
2. At least 5 years bookkeeping experience essential;
3. Experience of account packages preferable;
4. Have excellent oral and written communication skills;
5. Hardworking;
6. Articulate, polite, and well presented;
7. Focused;
8. Driven;
9. Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
