About the Job
The Appliance Installation Assistant role involves assisting drivers with deliveries and appliance installations of goods in customers' homes.
Interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service experiences that make Harvey Norman a great place to shop.
This is a white glove in-home delivery/installation operation.
Your Tasks
* Assist with loading and unloading delivery vans safely.
* Assist with delivery of appliances direct from our warehouses or stores to customers' homes.
* Call Harvey Norman Customers in advance of delivery to confirm estimated time of arrival.
* Assist with installation of appliances and/or furniture assemblies.
* Remove old products and packaging.
* Answer all phone calls/queries regarding deliveries from our Customer Delivery Office.
* Care of Proof of Delivery paperwork.
* Keep the delivery van clean and tidy at all times.
* Be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and install & assembly/delivery service.
Adhere to the company's Policies and Procedures at all times. Perform other related duties as required.

Additional Information:
* This is a Full Time - 11 month fixed term contract with a 6 month probationary period and potential for permanency.
* We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
