Position Summary:
To manage and ensure supply of stock in the most cost-effective way, including transfer of current parts and the onboarding of new suppliers & parts for new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the effective coordination of the material planning, purchasing, and production scheduling function and ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products.
2. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with existing and new suppliers.
3. Work with relevant procurement teams and/or suppliers to expedite shortages and urgent shipments.
4. Communicate regularly with vendors and provide reports to customers as required.
5. Work to reduce/eliminate any potential excess and obsolete material.
6. Review the impact of engineering change and/or deviations to current supply.
7. Develop and implement a cost reduction program.
8. Ensure that control, recording systems, and procedures fully meet our client’s requirements.
9. Ensure timely escalation and elimination of roadblocks.
10. Provide regular updates to internal and external customers, including visits to the customer site.
11. View and process purchase requisitions and SAP purchase orders while implementing strategies, policies & procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. 1-2 years vendor management expertise.
2. Extensive knowledge of MRP and SAP.
3. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
4. APICS/IIPMM or equivalent (will be an advantage).
5. Be proactive & results-driven.
6. Demonstrate a strong record of contract negotiation & ability to negotiate with vendors for maximum benefit.
7. Must have strong communication skills & excellent interpersonal skills and work with different functions within the organization.
8. Team player with the ability to work well in a pressurized environment to demanding objectives.
9. Able to work under their own initiative and make sound commercial decisions.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
