TradeZero is looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our dynamic team in Dublin 2, Ireland.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Social Media platforms and be capable of producing engaging static and video content in line with our brand identity and that resonates with our target audience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in Graphic Design and Video Editing software, and a passion for staying up to date with the latest trends in Social Media and video content creation. This is an on-site job position.
Responsibilities:
1. Create compelling and innovative thumbnails, static posts and video content optimized for various Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter.
2. Collaborate with our Marketing team and Social Media team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, ensuring the alignment of video content with the brand’s overall strategy.
3. Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished and visually appealing final product, ensuring high-quality audio, video, and graphics.
4. Implement creative storytelling techniques to produce engaging and shareable video content that effectively communicates the brand’s message.
5. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in video editing and Social Media content creation to ensure the production of cutting-edge and impactful videos.
6. Optimize videos for various Social Media platforms, considering factors such as aspect ratios, video length, and platform-specific requirements.
7. Maintain an organized library of video assets, including footage, audio, and graphics, for efficient and streamlined editing processes.
8. Collaborate with the content creation team to conceptualize and execute video content strategies that align with the brand’s identity and objectives.
Requirements:
1. Proven work experience (static and video) as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor - or in a similar role - preferably with a focus on Social Media content creation.
2. Proficiency in Video Editing and Graphic Design software, such as: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma. Video animation skills (Vector and Text animation) is not strictly required, but a plus.
3. Strong understanding of various Social Media platforms and their respective video requirements and best practices.
4. Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and engaging video concepts that resonate with the target audience.
5. Solid understanding of video production processes, including video shooting, editing, sound mixing, and colour correction.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics, with the ability to maintain brand consistency in all video content.
8. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. A portfolio of previous work demonstrating a diverse range of video editing and Social Media content creation skills.
10. Familiarity and interest in retail trading and the US stock market.
11. Fluent English knowledge.
