The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant with a strong financial background to join our leading international firm and specifically our award-winning Financial Accounting and Outsourcing Services Division.
Our Financial Accounting and Outsourcing team support our clients to better run their finance functions, understand their financial position and performance, and ensure they are compliant with changing accounting and tax legislation.
The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, assisting with all aspects of their accounting lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring adherence to client and filing deadlines through planning, scheduling, and overseeing individual client projects.
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Prepare management accounts, VAT returns (inc VAT, VIES, and Intrastat Returns), statutory financial statements, complete reconciliations, and lead bookkeeping projects, secondment roles, forecasting, and budgeting, and other ad hoc department projects.
* Oversight of billing and fees, including budgeting and the timely preparation of invoices.
* Drive high-quality service delivery within expected timeframes and on budget.
* Bring technical expertise and a strong knowledge and application of various accounting standards, primarily FRS 102.
* Ensure appropriate maintenance of financial information for a broad range of clients using various accounting software packages, including Xero and Sage 50.
* Creating and updating financial statements as required and in conjunction with the team using accounts production software.
* Remaining up to date with all accounting and regulatory standards to ensure compliance with all legislative practices.
* Liaising with various external stakeholders providing support as required, including external auditors as part of the year-end audit process for individual clients.
* Building strong relationships with client representatives.
* Manage expectations of client service delivery.
* Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment and play an active role in mentoring junior team members within the organization.
