About The Role
Overseeing the activities in the bar, expediting guests orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with co-workers. Ultimately, a top-performing Supervisor should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that guests have a pleasant experience. Supervisors oversee all bar operations to ensure that it runs smoothly.
This is an entry-level management position that is responsible for supporting and managing the daily operations in the department.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure all hotel standards are always kept
* Delegate tasks to line staff
* Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
* Oversee food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
* Monitor the restaurant's cash flow, follow proper cash handling protocol, and settle outstanding bills.
* Promote the best possible experience for our guests and ensure guest satisfaction.
* Ensure that all checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift.
* Ensure that all steps of service, policies, and procedures outlined in the Employee Manual are followed on a daily basis.
* Train, guide, and coach team members.
* Ensure cleanliness is maintained throughout and recorded accordingly.
* Supervise and guide staff.
* Other duties as required.
