Key Responsibilities:
* Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
* Monitor and interpret contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project
* Setting out using various instruments as chosen by the company
* Supervise and monitor subcontractors' work
* Report progress of works to Package Manager and highlight any issues
* Provide technical guidance and resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
* Quality management and BCAR coordination
* Adhere to planning, health and safety and environmental standards
* Weekly and monthly reporting of data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
* Significant experience as a Site Engineer with either a Developer and/or Main Contractor
* Strong setting out experience using equipment such as Total Station and GPS
* Fully clean manual driver's licence is essential
* Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* Strong attention to detail
