We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our client's healthcare team. The ADON will assist in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and staff development. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, developing, organizing, and overseeing nursing operations.
* Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
* Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies.
* Monitor patient care quality and implement improvement plans as needed.
* Participate in staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
* Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administration to enhance patient care.
* Address and resolve patient and family concerns effectively.
* Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Oversee infection control and patient safety programs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to patient care and nursing operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Valid NMBI registration and PIN
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
* Strong knowledge of nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
