Facilities Technician - Electrician

Key responsibilities:
1. Provide Best in Class customer service.
2. Adhere and lead company health and safety policies & guidelines.
3. Comply with and implement existing business operation procedures.
4. Take complete ownership of your working environment & systems.
5. Ensure that service delivery meets or exceeds the requirements of SLA's.
6. Manage and ensure helpdesk tasks are completed and closed in a timely manner.
7. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the building.
8. Ensure all RAMS are up to date prior to commencing works on site.
9. Keep appropriate records for services carried out.
10. Report all malfunctions to the Facilities team and ensure solutions are implemented.
11. Safely and efficiently install, maintain, and repair equipment as required.
12. Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
13. Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems comply with safety and industry regulations.
14. Perform inspections and testing to identify potential risks and ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
15. Collaborate with other team members and contractors.
16. Carry out electrical diagnostics and fault finding on equipment.
17. Undertake corrective maintenance as required.
18. Carry out audits, rounds, and readings on site, taking remedial actions where necessary.
19. Assist with HVAC, mechanical maintenance, and building fabric repairs as required.
20. Liaise with Facilities and IT department on project works.
21. Manage all spare parts for your responsible area.
22. Full energy management & green agenda ownership on site.
23. Work flexible duties & hours depending on requirements and On-Call Rota.
About you:
1. Fully Qualified Electrician with 2+ years' experience in a commercial environment.
2. Valid up-to-date certifications.
3. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems and technical diagrams.
5. Data centre experience would be an advantage.
6. Knowledge of HVAC controls, Fire Alarm controls is an advantage.
7. Proven experience & competence in PAT and Thermal imaging predictive maintenance.
8. Detailed knowledge of PPM systems.
9. Proven competence of Emergency Lighting and Fire Protection and Detection Systems.
10. Basic handyman, building maintenance skills.
11. Basic knowledge/understanding of HVAC Systems.
12. Competent in MS Office.
13. Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
14. Flexible approach to duties assigned.
15. Methodical/analytical approach to work.
16. Excellent interpersonal skills.
17. Team player.
18. Proactive "can do" approach.
19. Previous work experience in a similar role an advantage.
20. Irish full driving licence.
