Reporting to: Community Development ManagerContract Period: 1 year full-time fixed term contractSalary: €30-35k depending on experienceAbout FoodCloud:FoodCloud has a vision for a world where no good food goes to waste and the only thing bigger than our vision is our drive – we are an organisation of doers that are driven by kindness, fairness and a desire to help people and the planet.Would you like to join an organisation that is passionate about tackling food waste and increasing social inclusion in communities across Ireland and internationally?About the Job:The Digital Marketing Executive will help develop and be responsible for delivering all aspects of FoodCloud’s online marketing strategy.Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Digital Marketing Executive will support internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication of FoodCloud’s position and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Content Development & Social Media ManagementSupport the delivery of a digital marketing content calendar across all relevant channels (social media, website, newsletters)Create, curate, and distribute engaging, mission-aligned content (text, image, and video) to support FoodCloud’s goals and initiativesUse generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Canva Magic, etc.) to enhance content creation, idea generation, and campaign executionManage FoodCloud’s social media presence, including:Content creation and schedulingCommunity engagement and proactive interactionResponding to comments and messages to foster an active online communityTrack and report on social media performance, using insights to inform and improve future activityStay current with trends and best practices in digital content and social mediaSupport cross-functional teams with content needs across platforms and campaignsWebsite Management (Webflow)Maintain and update FoodCloud’s website (Webflow), ensuring changes reflect best practices for UX, SEO, and accessibilityUpload press releases, blogs, and campaign content accurately and in a timely mannerMonitor website performance and recommend improvements based on analyticsManage and prioritise website change requests from internal teamsCoordinate with external developers and designers as neededCampaign Support & CoordinationSupport the planning and delivery of communications campaigns led by FoodCloud, ensuring consistent messaging across digital platformsWork closely with internal teams to gather content, stories, and visual assets for use across digital channelsLiaise with external digital agencies and creative partners to support campaign delivery, content production, and digital strategy executionAssist in the coordination of events (internal and external), including digital promotion and communications supportProvide assets and communications support for external engagements, such as speaking opportunities and partnershipsEnsure that all content and campaigns align with FoodCloud’s visual identity, tone of voice, and organisational valuesSkills and ExperienceRequired:2+ years’ experience in a digital marketing, digital content, or communications roleProfessional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, DMI) or equivalent experienceStrong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an understanding of how to adapt content for different channels and audiencesExperience using:Social media tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn)Generative AI tools for content creation and campaign supportCanva or similar design toolsEmail marketing tools like MailchimpWebflow (or a similar content management system)Salesforce or another CRM for audience targeting and segmentationUnderstanding of SEO, Google Ads, and Google AnalyticsComfortable working with digital agencies and external content creatorsExcellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detailA proactive, flexible, and collaborative approachPassion for FoodCloud’s mission and the role of digital in driving positive social impactIf this sounds like your ideal role, we would like to hear from you.
