An award-winning organisation at national and international level, this business is well known, respected, and a strong successful brand in their market of operation. 3D Personnel are assisting this business in their search for the perfect candidate for the role of Maintenance Electrician.
The Role
This position represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate to work within one of Ireland's leading businesses. The successful candidate will be a part of a close-knit team reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out repair and maintenance work on equipment
2. Equipment installation and commissioning
3. Problem solving and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
4. Preventative maintenance and periodic testing of equipment
5. Complete site documentation as appropriate
6. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
7. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
9. Perform related duties as required by the Area Supervisor
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A trade qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation or Control Engineering with a minimum of 5 years industrial experience
2. A working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
3. A knowledge of electro-pneumatics
4. Experience with instrumentation and process control equipment
5. Experience with electrical / controls schematics
6. Strong practical skills
7. Good attention to detail
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
