Talbot Hotel Cork, part of the Talbot Collection, is currently recruiting for an experienced Front Office Supervisor.
Main Duties:
* Work together with the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Reception desk, ensuring guest requests are met at all times and revenue is maximised.
* Coordinate solutions quickly when guests experience problems in their room by working with housekeeping and/or service staff.
* Communicate with other hotel staff, such as housekeeping or maintenance, when rooms are ready to be cleaned or repaired in preparation for a new guest.
* Work closely with the Front Office Manager and Revenue Manager to ensure consistency of communication is maintained.
* Ensure all standard operational procedures are followed by all staff on duty.
* Assist with staff training.
* Handle and resolve customer complaints, following through to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have:
* Familiarity with Hot Soft system.
* 2 years' Hotel Reception Experience in a 4/5 star hotel environment.
* Ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
* Friendly and professional work attitude.
* Fluent English essential - written and spoken.
* Must be available to work variable shifts.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
This position will involve shift and weekend work.
