Procurement Manager Due to continued growth this highly acclaimed construction group require a Procurement Manager to oversee the Buying Department.
Reporting to the Director your role will include the day to day management of the buying team and leading negotiations with new and existing suppliers.
Purchasing materials and labour in line with project budget Negotiating with new and existing suppliers Appointing sub-contractors Preparation of detailed budgets Preparation of all purchasing documents Production of key management reports Monitoring and reporting performance to Director Experience: At least 10 years procurement experience with a main contractor Demonstrable experience of managing a team of Construction Buyers Strong awareness of procurement legislation Excellent negotiating skills Previous purchasing experience for large-scale projects.
