The role of the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) Advisor involves promoting a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture that prioritizes zero harm, ensuring compliance with local and national safety regulations.
The successful person will collaborate with various project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project execution, lead safety training and briefings, and manage essential aspects of the construction safety program.
This is a full-time, permanent position; this role involves travelling to sites located across Ireland. Head office is located in Naas, Co Kildare.
Knowledge (Education & Related Experience) and Skills:
1. Recognised third level Health, Safety Qualification i.e., BSc in Health and Safety
2. Experience in PSCS/ PC stage of construction.
3. 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
4. Organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence Safety performance.
7. Requires travel (including overnight stays) to sites as required.
8. Full clean driver’s license.
9. Experience in Health & Safety Incident Investigation.
