Caseworker Job Description
At Turas Nua, we are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Caseworker to join our team in our Bray office. As a Caseworker, you will work with clients referred by the Department of Social Protection to provide personalized employment support services.

Turas Nua is an Irish employability services provider, wholly owned by FRS Network, an Irish cooperative social enterprise that has been delivering services to Irish communities since 1980. We support people who are over 12 months unemployed or employed part-time on low earnings through intensive, targeted, and personalized employment support services.
Purpose of Role
As a Caseworker, you will manage a caseload of clients, coordinating internal support specialists and external organizations to provide a planned support service to each client, helping them gain sustainable employment. You will also provide one-to-one advice and support to guide their progress towards employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a robust case management plan for each client, working towards sustainable, full-time employment.
* Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify clients' goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including intensive job search support when they are job-ready.
* Identify, structure, and recommend training solutions to meet clients' specific learning and training needs.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local labour market.
* Achieve daily and monthly contractual key performance indicator (KPI) targets, managing a caseload of clients.
Person Profile
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with strong case management capabilities, including decision-making skills, relationship skills, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to build rapport and trust with clients, motivate them to own their journey, and achieve change. A high level of understanding, patience, and empathy is essential, along with active listening skills and the ability to navigate difficult conversations/interactions with professionalism and sensitivity.
