Job Title: Sales Manager (Golfing Industry)
Location: Dublin 15 (70% off site at client location and 30% hybrid)
Salary: 50,000 to 60,000 (DOE)
+ End of Year Bonus based on KPI's
What’s the Opportunity?
The Services team provides tailored sales and business development solutions to clients and operated golf clubs to drive their businesses forward. As part of the Client Services team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of sales activities for our client’s venues. Working closely with the Head of Services, you will help drive revenues across all areas of the business—including memberships, green fees, retail, and food & beverage—to meet annual budgets and position the clubs as market leaders. This is a hands-on role, requiring significant time spent at client venues in Dublin 15.
Sounds great, what does my day to day look like?
* Work with the Group CRO to set sales targets and implement annual sales plans across key revenue streams (memberships, green fees, pro shop sales, food & beverage).
* Lead the Services Sales Team, ensuring efficient resource allocation and excellent customer service.
* Monitor and report sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
* Develop and execute multi-venue sales strategies in collaboration with sales executives, third-party agencies, and venue operations managers.
* Oversee HubSpot management for sales tracking and ensure a seamless handover from sales to golf operations.
* Support marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and new business opportunities.
* Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify growth, pricing, and upsell opportunities.
* Represent the company at key networking events to strengthen client relationships and attract prospects.
* Build and maintain industry partnerships, working closely with venue personnel, vendors, and social groups.
* Ensure all activities align with business goals while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
So what do you need from me in terms of experience?
* Minimum 2 years of sales and management experience, preferably in the sports or golf industry.
* Target-driven with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
* Highly motivated, organized, and results-focused.
* Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with clients and colleagues in both written and verbal formats.
* Confident, proactive, and ambitious, with a problem-solving mindset and leadership skills.
* Experience in hospitality, travel, tour operations, golf clubs, or sports organizations is essential.
* In-depth golf industry knowledge required.
* Full clean driving license with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
