Functional Requirements
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, and returns. This involves working closely with lessees, lessors, airlines, and other stakeholders to develop processes and provide timely updates on project status.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all technical aspects of aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, and returns
* Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy, correctness, and completeness
* Providing proactive advice on aircraft-specific technical and leasing-specific matters
* Coordinating lease discussions and meetings with customers and stakeholders
* Overseeing aircraft and engine shop visit events, including oversight of technical records management
* Managing all technical aspects for contracted repair/overhaul services as required
* Management of technical consultant teams
Skills and Experience:
* Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
* 5+ years' experience working in the airline, MRO, OEM, Lessor, CAMO, or aircraft management industry
* Experience working with aircraft transitions and delivery/redelivery projects
* Understanding and experience of airworthiness regulations and mandates
* Understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and CAMO requirements
* Experience and competence in performing aircraft physical inspections
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
* Sound business knowledge and judgment, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Competent at auditing aircraft records, with high attention to accuracy and detail
* Excellent time management and ability to identify priority tasks
* Capable of distilling information into key takeaways and presenting reports in a clear and concise manner
* Team player with excellent collaborative and communication skills and a proven ability to influence others
