Regional Manager (RehabCare)

Permanent Contract, 39 hours
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Regional Manager will have responsibility for the operation of our Care services on a regional basis, ensuring the provision of high-quality and exceptional services, consistent with the regulatory standards. They will lead and develop the Operations team on a regional basis in fulfilling its purpose; to provide a range of innovative support services for people with disabilities.
Minimum Education & Skills required
* At least 3 years’ experience in a regional management role.
* A third level qualification in health and social care, education, or other relevant areas. Masters level education is desirable.
* Experience in leading out on strategic projects with a proven track record of delivering business outcomes.
* Proven ability to make difficult and challenging decisions that support strategic aims and long-term vision.
* Experience or knowledge of the charity or not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.
* Experience of working with Board/s of Directors would be an advantage.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of service managers across the region.
* Strategic planning and development of new services.
* Managing resources in an efficient and effective way, always ensuring that services are provided within budget and through the most cost-effective methods.
* Provide support to specific strategic projects related to the business and region.
* Develop and maintain key strategic relationships with the organisation’s funders within the CHO regions with regard to negotiation/management of Service Level Agreements and identifying opportunities for developing and expanding the Care services, where appropriate to its mission and where proven to be financially sustainable.
Additional requirements
* Participating on a national on-call rota, as required.
* Carrying out any other reasonable duties related to the above, as required.
* Conducting investigations and participating on disciplinary panels, as required.
